"Group announces full LP about Jay Electronica's Act II"
This just popped up in my inbox.... not sure what to think...
S W EA R. W O RDS. to begin ‘Threat Thursdays’ campaign in attempt to get Jay Electronica to release long-delayed Act II
"Dear Jay Electronica, RAP MORE / Instead of treatin' your fans like some fiendin' crack whores." Thus begins the mission statement- cum-rap-banger from S W EA R. W O RDS. (good luck googling that one, Internet....)
At this time, little is known about the project beyond this brief statement from the group: "As rap fans ourselves, we're tired of waiting for one of the most anticipated rap albums of the past ten years. Jay Electronica's ever-delayed Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn) may never see the light of day unless we take matters into our own hands.
So, we will be releasing an entire album of songs prodding this dude to release HIS album... for reals. We hope to lead by example, showing our man that releasing a rap album doesn't have to be as dramatic and tantrum-laden as planning a rich girl's sweet sixteen party.
Every Thursday for the next 12 weeks, a new song will drop via our soundcloud page (soundcloud.com/swear-words). If dude releases the record any time during the 12 weeks, we will cease operations and rejoice. Oh yeah, the full LP is going to be called Act II: The Tactics of Futility (The Burn). #threatthursdays"
