If this is the sound Prince is going for on his next album (if he ever makes one) I am fine with that. Much better than RNR Love Affair. Pleasantly surprised by this album

It's popsy folksy funk well written songs and impeccably produced. Absent are the superfluous sounds that have marred prince releases for a long time.

Granted, its nice to hear Prince' enthusiasm shows in a side project again.

From the samples I heard, it seems that he was putting his foot down musically, which makes me excited on whats brewing in the horizon.
