but my favorite album out the crew is OGC - "Da Storm". One because my favorite rapper out the crew is Starang, and two because I just love the dark sound of the whole album. This is prolly my fave joint from that album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPKcp8K_mxs

No Fear maybe one of the best BCC tracks ever.

I usually feel dissappointed with a lot of the hip hop live shows I have gone to but I saw the whole click in philly around when monkey bars was coming out. That show was bananas.

While being just as hardcore lyrically...
and the beats were still banging...although NOT AS much as the first few BCC albums...there were no classic beats....
Enta The Stage + Dah Shining had CLASSICS
Gotcha Opin Gotcha Opin remix Who got the props Buck Em Down Buck Em Down remix How Many MC's Bucktown SoundBwoy Burial SoundBwoy Burial Remix Wreckonize remix Wontime
However...Nocturnal remains a more fun album to listen to....
to me, its the BCC's Midnight Marauder album... the first 2 albums had the classics that got more major play
>Nocturnal being liked better than Enta Da Stage and Dah >Shinin' > >I'm wondering how much of Sean P's recent success plays into >that. > >Back in the day, I thought is was fairly obvious that >Nocturnal did not reach the level of the first 2 BCC debuts.

"Enta da stage" USED to be my favourite but those choruses with dozens of guys screaming the title over and over has dated the album in a bad way; otherwise, it's dope as fuck to me still-I especially love the barebones production with not much more than classic breaks and filtered basslines.
"Dah shinin'" has a similar production but holds up better IMO and it has my favourite songs but I don't know, I find the mc's pretty boring over the course of an album.
"Nocturnal" is a more understated, subtle record productionwise with less standout songs but it has a great atmosphere/vibe and I just love the chemistry between Sean Price and Rock not to mention that the latter has one sick voice. It's the record I play the most today even if I reach for individual songs more from the first two projects.
"Dah Storm" by comparison was not very good at all to me, it never did anything for me outside of like two-three songs...
