"Dopest underrated and sometimes unintentional inspirational songs"
Meaning there's songs like "Change Is Gone Come" and "Someday We'll All Be Free" and "Wake Up Everybody" and "What's Going On" which were uplifting to people and historical because of it. But i'm referring to songs that are sort of in the same category but no one's ever payed attention to.
For me, i'll start off with Raphael Saadiq's Uptown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nDkIPEL-w0 i could see this on a early 90s hood film starring Omar Epps lol Freal underrated song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3KpUO6t9qQ Corny synthesizers and everything (like why does the beginning always remind me of Reading Rainbow? lol) ::MY national anthem::
Some effed up shit happened to me around 5 months ago. After a short hospital stay and 4 or 5 days of getting sober I heard 'wide awake' by Katy Perry. I know the song is supposed to be about a relationship but for me it was about getting sober. Real cheesy but for whatever reason, it worked for me in that context. Have to admit...it kinda became a personal anthem.

this track was about advice and reminiscing in my opinion, and it really does inspire me, it just makes me think of that certain situation and how life can turn out from what you might think is just another night out.
A Toast To The People. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy9FYQpMQJs (why is it so hard to find other stuff by Victor Brown? Did he just stop singing? His voice was killer)
