I didn't much care for the more electronic vibe in the second half.
P.O.S.'s lyrics are on point throughout, but I'm kinda let down by the album overall. All his other albums have been growers for me, so I not dismissing this one.

How We Land - Skipped, can't deal with that sangin'

The piano in Wanted Wasted is nice

They Can't Come
is great, not feeling the hook game thus far though the hooks/ chorus's on Never Better were incredibly memorable/anthemic (is that a word? It should be.)

Lockpicks, Knives, Bricks?

He BETTER DESTROY THIS SHIT
sounds EL-Pish
...waiting for a drop...
alright I don't think there's gonna be any crazy drums crashing here
it's good though.
Oh OK DRUMS
Yeah this is dope. Please don't let this be the apex of the LP though.

Fire In The Hole - Yeah this is cool... underwhelming for a P.O.S. track

Get Down - lol this is left field, this is awesome though, I hope it makes people mad. This Mike Mictlan guy better not ruin the song...

I like Mike he's cool. did he say trillbillies? lmao he said CLURB

All of It - they keeping this EDM influence lol awesome. Alright this is the best track so far imo. DOPE DRUMS. Yeah he's riding this beat.

YES MORE OF THE ELECTRONIC sound

Weird Friends -

lol this nigga P.O.S. is fucking hilarious I did not expect the LP to sound like this at all, it's great though lmao. This albums less serious than Never Better, way lighter, more of a sense of humor about it, way more fun.

Piano Hits - alright cya EDM, this is good to though. I really like the way the piano hits/attacks.

The fact that this LP is short really saves it.
Ends very strong with tracks 8-11.

Weakest track was How We Land imo.

I'll listen again with headphones and I'm sure it'll be MUCH better.

I just played it on my rooms sound system. This isn't exactly yell the chorus's at the top of your voice anthemically like Never Better was so I think the headphones will make it more enjoyable.

Way more "fun" than Never Better imo.

Never Better is a waaaaay better album though imo.

This is still a 4 star album though.

*goes to spin Never Better again*

It's got a fun, oddball kinda vibe to it.

1) This will most likely not be as good as Never Better, which is one of my favorite rap albums ever

2) It may have an electro-flair to it and sound similar to the last Doomtree album, and also sound a bit "cleaner" than his past releases

Musically, I love it. The beats are cool, but more than that, I think POS really knows how to play with the structure of his songs-- lots of good breakdowns, tension and release type stuff.

Lyrically, I think he's one of the most unique and talented MCs in indie-rap, ALTHOUGH he does seem to be covering a lot of already-covered ground on this album. That's just after one listen, though. Will have to revisit.

Overall, I'm enjoying this, just as a listener, more than a lot of other stuff put out this year.

Hope he recovers quickly.

is my favorite track right now...sample sounds familiar...anyone recognize it? Probably my favorite track right now. Is it the exact same sample as Let It Rattle?
