that have dropped in the last 5 years or so.
Spinoff, of come on people's post regarding the lack of traditional R&B songs in mainstream rotation. A fair amount of us thought it was a qaulity issue. Those who think that it is not a quality issue, throw some links up in this post of tracks that deserved more spins on Hot 97 and wasn't getting it.
To be fair, I will mention one.
The Foreign Exchange - Something To Behold feat. Darien Brockington & Muhsinah
Funny thing is that though I thought each of these tracks could have blown up if gotten regular rotation on black stations I can see why programmers didn't see the vision of them being R&B singles.
