dont know how many people here are fans, but i freaking love mike doughty.
i was a big soul coughing fan back in the day, and his solo stuff from the past 10 years has pretty much all been fantastic

anywho - "the flip is another honey" - dropping election day
fodder = john denver, cheap trick, musicals, thin lizzy, and my personal fave (heard it live) is a track he lifted from the soundtrack to that awesome 80s animated movie Heavy Metal.
