i mean, niggas in paris is dope the rest of his shit? underwhelming his bars? even over a bink beat; underwhelming so what's his appeal? (didn't they say this about kanye way back in the day?)
life always offers you a 2nd chance...it's called tomorrow. use it wisely
I agree that his struggle bars underwhelm, but you're right, people said the exact same thing about Ye. The stories of other rappers cringing and literally laughing behind his back at his raps are infamous.

the thing about Kanye was, that he stood out back in '03 with what he was saying and people honestly didn't care that much about the flow or how corny some of it was...in the end the whole product was fresh plus he couldn't miss with the beats he was using... I even remember people being impressed with his verse on the Get By remix and that it added to the hype of his debut. Or that mixtape (I forgot what it was called, with complete songs & snippets) and the bootleg college dropout being good all gave him the attention needed to make the final version a success.
Hit-boy has none of that, he doesn't stand out topic wise, his flow isn't interesting enough what he's rapping about isn't different
He only has his beats, dope beats but that won't make him the next 'ye...

just like there's no such thing as the "next" any megastar... these ppl reach this kind of success because they're unique in some way, shape or form.. no one gets that big off of imitation.. and it's time to start realizing that ye is one of "those" dudes who ends up defining an era... whether you like him or not, really
