Might be their second best album. Took me a while to get to it cause I didn't really like Humbug, after hearing this I may have to give it another listen. Three good albums, they're one of the best bands out there.

I heard a song on YouTube That got my attention then I downloaded the album. It's good enough to buy imo. I like Favorite Worst Nightmare I used to listen to it a lot. They sound really different now, I would say it's a good thing.

But yeah 505 and Old Yellow Bricks were the shit too. I don't hate Humbug as much as some but I don't prefer it to the first two at all. Still haven't heard Suck It and See.

It's a good record. They're on some weird, 50's, grease-westside story vibe. Nice avy btw!

Thanks. Yeah, they still seem like a new band to me and the change sounds like they're seasoned vets.

I've actually ended up getting into Humbug a little, but it's easily their weakest

They've grown u a lot. Nontheless, I really do feel their best work is ahead of them. Alex Turner is a monster songwriter now, and his vocals/croon are in effect.

It gave them some swagger which imho they were kind of missing when they used to barrel through songs dance punk style. Suck It seems to be a good mix of both styles, but I still give the nod towards Humbug.

Turner's songwriting is so strong/specific that he can experiment with styles and not lose the band's identity.
