Kimbra is that female from New Zealand featured on that overplayed song by Gotye "Somebody I Used to Know." She released her own album, "Vows" earlier this year and I was impressed. She mostly reminds me of Bjork, Basia, Sia, and Swing Out Sister, but her crazy live performances struck me that soul music & hip hop have had some kind of influence on her. She cites Outkast, Minnie Riperton, Prince, and Nina Simone as influences.
