This weekend I recorded a handfuL of tracks that wiLL make it on my 4th of juLy aLbum. One of them might be the best song I ever recorded in terms of accessabilty and the overaLL vibe. I feeL Like it wiLL connect with Listeners across underground & commerciaL Levels. But its a short motherfuckr tho! Then I did a coupLe instumentaLs, and got Like 2 more with words on em. Got the name of the project seLected, and aLso got a chance to have Lunch w/ my dad for fathers , watched the heat run on the thunder, and for some reason they didn't show Mad Men on tv yesterday...

pLus i went and saw 3 bands Last night and drank too much of some new underground texas vodka that was sponsporing the event. it's a shitty ass combination.

but i saw the most impressive performance i may have ever seen. ever. this young ass skinny bLack dude got on stage with a guitar. then you had a young ass skinny white dude on bass and a young ass skinny mixed youngster on drums. they aLL Just graduated high schooL Like 2 weeks ago. they pLayed 5 straight jimi hendrix songs... this guitar pLayer aLso song vocaLs. i put it on everything, i witnessed the 2nd coming of jimi hendrix. this dude KILLED it. i've never seen anyone pLay the guitar this good in my Life. and he is onLy 18 and a brother. shit was in fuckn sane. aLL he needs is the right person to Link with and its game over. i saw the next bLack guitar hero.

back to today. i managed to make one good track with an intro that just needs bLack thought rapping on it. LoL. it couLd be something for reaL. it's updated and catchy feeL good music with the underground in it. the feeLin inside i think i caLLed it.

i was counting on today being my most productive day out the weekend but its not going to happen. i'm going to see what i can do tho.
