"Lionel RIchie and Brian Mcknight truly have showed you to move your stuf..."

two of the Baddest Musical talents this year have hit in different ways, however they are showing you that Brothers that are a little bit older can still find ways to be heard without doing things from the old PR way and I'm proud of both of these OGs for real.

both are doing there thing.

Don't worry about you know who making comebacks...

His "comeback" is making $12 million in less than 1 month while touring Australia (that was just this past May...)...He's a living icon, homie...No comeback needed....

I say let Lionel do him...He's using his own songs and the power of other country stars to carry him, which is smart...

I'm interested to hear some original tunes from him and his Nashville crew...He may be on to something....

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

I try to stay out of your McKnight/Richie posts....

But if moving your music to a porn site and alienating your over 40 plus black female fanbase is smart, then I need to re-think my life...

As for Lionel, what he did wasn't rocket science...He paired himself with a genre that still sales units (country) on the strength that he wrote a hit for Kenny Rogers...

My only question for Lionel is what took him so long?

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Brian Mcknight is smart and he has a fan base behind the Ladies Yo, he has fans of all walks of life you just don't know much about the Brother and it shows as usual.

musically he can do anything period. this was a smart move because bottom line he needed some 2012 action and folks ain't put a dime on him since 03 at the latest and he said here it goes, and it ain't like Brian doesn't have a catelog to fall back on and that he can't do any style of music.

Brian is going to be alright.

Lionel B Richie with the home shopping network and the prime time tv was a smart move. you see another subject you know nothing about, there is nothing to say this would work and his hits with Kenny Rogers,Conway twitter and Alabama was back when the General lee flying in the air on a friday night was acceptable tv in America ya Dig?

so anyway for him to hit like this and mind you its about not only the songs being Great, but also he is a Musical Genius and its long overdue he got his shine and he is the 2nd best selling act of the year behind Adele which tells me that folks are hungry for the goods and want a vet to win again.

timing is everything and it was his time to shine and who is to say if this dropped 10 years back that it would be well recieved? and for him to hit now with 3 decade old and plus material and also in this day and age when record sales ain't exactly that high and the AGEIsm factor well he has Won.

Nah...But more power to him....I'm not even thinking of it on a moral level...

But from the few McKinght fans I know, this isn't a good look....

But who's talking about his talent?

Everyone knows Brian is talented....Even if his music is sleepy time...Dude is killer on the keyboards...

But that doesn't have anything to do with dude doing a complete turn...

It would be like Slash suddenly decides to make a light jazz album...

>Brian is going to be alright.

He will if he gets on that Casino circuit...

Lionel did a no-brainer...

Like I said, he should have done it when he was becoming known as Nicole's dad...

Bravo to dude....He's getting it....

you have nothing else better to do with your time but try to rain your tears and wasted words on my thread and this is a double bad look for you man in a real way.

Brian is one of the baddest One Man Bands ever period from jazz to classical gospel and R&b, Pop for fun and country problem is despite having that kind of skills as a player and a singer/sanger he can't write them hits and he is DoMinique Wilkins to R.Kelly's Michael Jordan and it gets to him, but Brian can't drop that money track.

dude is badd on Keys, guitar and bass. got crazy skills.

and that base ain't supported him since Robin Thicke was in brian's camp so again it doesn't matter because they ain't suporting the brother.

that Lionel remark was wack and again it shows how tacky a turkey you can be because as talented as Lionel B Richie is why would he need to piggyback off his daughter? that makes no sense whatsoever and he apparently struck at the right time because folks are buying his stuff.

actually i could see Slash doing a Smooth jazz Project he might have a Earl Lugh thing in him who knows? Slash records tend to go Reynolds wrap as is, so why not have him get his Larry Carlton on?

Lionel dusted off his classics. McKnight went for jokes.

now Lionel does the latter on some ironic celebrity stuff, but not when it comes to his music. I think there's a bit of a difference here.

Mcknight marketed himself and pushed this and used the modern multi media to pick up on it and regardless of the material it got buzz he used the modern super highway as a means to captiolize and it was very savvy on his part IMO

Nah...Doc got it right....BM is not on Lionel's level...at all...

B.M. is going for shock and awe....He's going for hey-look-at-me!!! attention...And it's worked...But for all the wrong reasons...And it says a lot that you are coppin' pleas for him......SMH...even for u...

As for Lionel, again, I applaud him...This is the right thing to do at this stage of his career...

He's about to hook up with Nashville and make some original tunes and go Hootie on us......As long as dude is happy, that's all that matters...

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....
