"EL Debare"in the storm" Appreciation page"

this was my favorite album of 1992

he did the best Marvin of anybody, ARRUH comes close, however El got it in the bag and he didn't dream of marvin he always channeled him.

fast lane the lead off song has Larry graham and Kool Moe dee on here.

El Debarge was feeling the love because Chante moore is all on the album.

Maurice White co Produced this album.

you know how much I Love "El's cover of "After the dance"

this is one of my favorite albums over the past 20 years.

El Debarge is one of my all time favorite Artists Ever and the expression ain't no joke.

much props

It was way ahead of it time and a perfect example of wb execs dropping the ball
The el and Reece collabo was meant to be like a q and mj moment
Keith crouch and crew killed it as well
It was the modern ewf album I was dying to hear
But the project never jumped off the way it should have
I was bummed they made him revamp heart mind and soul
Cuz it was supposed to be an extension of storm

I have to agree on the best channel of Marvin
He was doing it before anyone else was doing it and he was the best

LG
A prince penned song
Ewf crew
Crouch
El

This is the record that I always tell folks to hunt for

all rolled into one and yet it sounded purely El.

i never cared for the prince track and i felt it sounded out of place, though i dug when EL went into "Loosey Booty" with it though that was tight.

the album artwork was from the same cat who did MJ's dangerous.

blame Benny Medina he was the WB executive at the time running things.

Heart, mind and soul was a good record and him and Babyface(who irony of all irony says that no El Debarge then no solo career for himself) connected real strongly, and that record should have been bigger iMO as well.

in the storm though i would have dug a part 2.

him and Chante moore all throughout was the truth.
