first three albums were all very good, and even the fourth album had some jams on it. i didn't mess with them much after that though, but they have a lot of good songs. 3 is probably their best album.

One of the most underrated groups ever, or one of the most overrated.

Meaning, I don't put them into that class of elite level rap groups who changed the game (Outkast, Run DMC, EPMD, N.W.A., ATCQ, etc.), but they're not far off.

However, they seem to be dismissed by a lot of heads as some white boy niche rap, almost like ICP or something.

B-Real especially doesn't get the credit he deserves as an MC. At one time, he was one of the illest guys around, IMO.

And Muggs was really a great producer once upon a time, but the ghost producing whispers (Alchemist, T-Ray, etc.) really seem to have hurt his legacy.

I played it a while ago for the first time in years and some of the faster songs are somewhat filler-ish but I'd say a good half to 2/3 of that album still totally rules and the beats are SO nice...

I haven't Listened to them since tempLes of boom and the first souL assasins record
