so...chatting back and forth...he tells me he created a Dilla Tribute album called "BAKERS DOZEN"

but who would rap over them joints
they don't have that feel to me

Truly stands on its own as a body of work. Sure the dilla influence is there. But the interpolations are strategic and sparse allowing dude to maintain identity as a producer. Dope!
