THE BUZZ: Rockstar Leeds has revealed a new game centered around the 90's rap icon.
With the success of Tupac Shakur's posthumous hologram performance at this year's Coachella Music Festival. Many companies have been quick to lay a claim to the opening in this newly emerging market.
Both Rockstar Games Leeds and The estate of Tupac Shakur wasted no time as it was announced on Wednesday morning that the two would pair for the creation of a new game centered around the rapper.
Representatives for both Afeni Shakur, the Mother of the slain rapper, as well as Rockstar Games Leeds announced a partnership to release what is tentatively being called 'Grand Theft Auto: 2pac'.
Some details were disclosed in the press release. The game promises to be an open-world sandbox that places gamers in the world of Shakur in the model world of San Francisco and Los Angeles (San Fierro and Los Santos, respectively) after he is released from a lengthy prison stretch.
Players will guide Tupac as he sheds his image as an art school student from the east coast to a full-fledged gangsta rap superstar by assaulting civilians with baseball bats, dalliances with groupies in night clubs, fights in casinos and having shoot-outs with police officers.
The game is reportedly set to culminate in an climatic ending on the Las Vegas (...or Las Venturas) strip but press agents were mum on if the games protagonist will escape fate via a flight to Cuba.

of a regular who i never found particularly intelligent, although i knew he could be funny. what i wonder is if the grammatical and typographical errors are thrown in there as a wink to the reader or honest mistakes.

AND, they already made this game, it was called GTA San Andreas. This really made me mad lol

character. I know some people like to remember him as some sort of empowerment icon but he made a lot of risky moves without fully understanding (or even giving thought to) the ramifications of his decisions.
