"That Diggy album Unexpected Arrival is really dope!!!!"
I really had no idea that this was out but its awesome. It deserves at least a listen on spotify. It isn't all 'super rappery'(not a word, so what). It does however feel very genuine. I find that I like his music way more than I thought I would because his airborne joint was dope too.

yeah i was excited about diggy a couple years back when he was rapping over old nas beats then i had heard he signed to Atlantic, which turned me off completely.

I may be overly hating on any artist with a bunch of singing on their record but it doesn't really remind me of those. I think I hear what you mean as far as how "accessible" it sounds but I feel like it's done in a less ham fisted or pandering way than Lupe or b.o.b. It still feels like a rap record to me, not pop record. There's like two joints I don't like on there, they are back to back and they're the "girl" tracks.

So you heard it and you genuinely don't like it? or have you listened to previous work of his and you weren't interested? It's not like he's super lyrical or anything but I do think there is truth and authenticity in his music.
