Not too mad (or happy with) the song but it doesn't strike me as a particularly bold first single. The three tracks off Stoned Immaculate he leaked a few weeks ago sound better than this.

I thought on the hook Wale was trying to channel Wiz, that's just me though.

yeah i really haven't been feeling the 4 songs i've heard off stoned emaculate. there just good/there. but really i'll support the album when it drops because he's given us so much great shit for free.

I actually liked those other leaked ones more than this one. That being said, Im a bit underwhelmed overall.

Ambition and everything after has been dope. He changed his style up completely and it was dope. I didn't fuck with him before Ambition at all. That 'Downtown' track off the second seinfeld mixtape went hard tho.

Signing with MMG worked well for him because it made him settle on a sound. Dude was jumping to a different sound each project before.
