love his vocal harmony on that song and I wished back in 92 that the song had made its way onto the Dangerous Album. that slow Jam was screaming to be heard worldwide.

love his falsetto parts and the trumpet solo was so cold. loved the way it just came on in.

reminds me a little of 'after the dance'.

i wish 'someone put your hand out' had the place of 'heal the world' on dangerous.

that little piano line once the 'cowbell' percussion comes in on the intro definitely sounds like 'After The Dance' & it shares that songs smoothness.

it has an insistent melody and all

but it's just so goddamn cloyingly saccharine. it's awful.

i'd also cut the other mega hit from the album, so what do i know

and then he sings that one line, "Its because I'm needing that someone" with urgency..then he goes back to calm and reserved. That's my favorite part

it was for Bad, didn't make the cut

Reworked for Dangerous with Teddy and it still didn't make it (It should've replaced either She Drives Me Wild or Heal The World)
