Lil Wayne Unveils New Birth Year

Lil Wayne has kicked off 2012 making waves for his catchy sing-song lyrics, leopard print jackets and his recent love affair with lime green UGG space boots, but the rapper made headlines this past Friday when he unveiled his new birth year in what has become something of an annual tradition.

The rapper's publicist, Kia Selby, issued a press release declaring the rapper, born Dwayne Carter, was now in fact born September 27th, 1986. Making the New Orleans-born rapper 25 years old and no longer 29 as previously reported.

Lil Wayne, 25, had no comment at press time.

this is regular? huh? I haven't heard of this before...

All I know is they always say he was 11-13 on those first BGs recordings in 93 or so.

What the hell? I was in middle school when the hot boys were popular and I'm 25, and though some people do look old for their age and people still card me to buy soda dude looked way older than me back then.

If it is some kind of stunt I wouldn't even see the point in it, give your self 4 years of youth to connect with fans before you drop another wack ass album? lol

But the "story" posted above seems fake as hell. I see no trace of it when I google the "article"'s headline or author.
