>as was brooklyn we go hard
I'll respectfully disagree with this. The beat was ill, Jay went in, and Santi took it over the top. With a proper video, it could have been one of Jay's biggest singles. Someone dropped the ball tremendously on that one.
>those songs fell by the wayside deservedly so imo >my only beef is that while those songs were terrible imo, i >agree that they outclassed songs like venus vs mars, hate, on >to the next, off that, which weren't just bad, they were among >the worst songs jay has ever done and some of the worst i've >heard in years.
The only song in that list that I would like to remove is On To The Next One. That song had the right amount of bounce and Jay, once again, did what was necessary, lyrically, to make it memorable. And, hate Swizz as much as some do (I don't), but he's the king of taking a sound that could possibly be grating and making it melodic enough to make you move.
And, lastly, I'd like to add Forever Young to the list. Damn that shit was forced. Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.
