"Marrakesh Express (Crosby, Stills, & Nash, 1969)"

It's a great song, but all I think about it when I hear it is that the band must have been blazed out of their mind when they wrote this. It reminds me of 'For Free (Interlude)' on Kendrick's album. The Kendrick song obviously sounds like what can be experienced while taking drugs and Marrakesh Express seems the same way to me.

Does anyone know the recording history of this song?

but the song 'sounds' like it could be about drugs, that's what comes to mind when I listen to Marrakech Express. It was just a random thought that popped up while listening to the song.

Thanks. Apparently the song is intended as a description of a trip on a train. I still would have wanted to be a fly on the wall when this song was written.
