1. He's run out of gas, finally.
2. He's reciting really old rhymes that weren't meant to fit the beats he's spitting over.
3. He's trying something new, failing miserably at it.
Raekwon's flow is still crispy, on point, and buoyant as ever. They're both in their early 40s. Ghost stumbling on bars, rushing to make count, it just sounds like he's lagging.
He needs to either write DIRECTLY to the beats before him, ditch his old rhyme book, or just get some "help."

I'd actually argue it started around Big Doe Rehab, but he sounds fine on here to me. I actually felt like it was one of his better verses since God Body Flow w/ Ye
Ghost's peak was so high Forever, SC, The W, Bullet Proof Wallets, Pretty Toney, Fishcale, the fall was gunna seem stark. (pun intended)

I'm so baffled at the disparity in the quality of his bars and his timing....timing was his thing, it's what we as fans listen for when hearing an expert at work. I just wonder if he's lost that knack for it.

23. "for me it's not the lack of timing" In response to Reply # 18
it seems like he's lost all passion for rhyming.
the big break through post Ironman (there was always glimpses of it 36 to Liquid) wasn't only the other worldly slang, and novelist attention to detail when telling stories, it was the EMOTING. How he would mimic being on the verge of tears, an orgasm, angry as shit about to fist fight, or running from the cops within the verses. Not only could you see the pictures, you felt them. songs like "Impossible", "I Can't Go To Sleep", "Run", or "Child's Play" being prime examples of it.
even with this/these critiques, It would be hard to knock Ghost out of my personal top 4
