now whats going on is a landmark album, however on a whole do you find Marvin Gaye's work as social on a whole to what Sly stone was putting out?

as for sly Stone do you feel that while he was Social that he was speaking to the black panther party crowd and the white hippies alike or was it cross racial lines?

are they viewed the same for there social commentary as artists by folks you know?
