We all acted in a play together earlier this year in SF that Denizen wrote, that's how we linked up. The song was recorded after. We did it in 3 different home studios with Taiyo recording his verse in NY and the rest of us in the Bay.

I don't know how linked in Den is with the Chicago scene nowadays, he's been living in the Bay now for a while, but Typical Cats just put out a new album recently (which is really dope) and I know he had spent some time out there to work on it.

I know Qwel from his time living in the Bay and Qwaazar I met briefly through doing shows together back in the day. Galapagos is definitely the homies.
