Lyrically, that song fits right up Amy's alley. Unfaithful lover, complicated relationship, introspective analysis, all classic Winehouse.
Musically, I think Amy would've nailed the underlying soulfulness of Sheryl's melody. But post-'Back to Black' Amy might've taken some liberties with the arrangement, made it more "retro" sounding, so I'd have preferred this be covered by 'Frank' era Amy. She was in much better vocal shape and it'd be cool to hear her against the electric guitar of Sheryl's original arrangement, an instrument Amy's later production mostly shied away from.
And cidolfas, you must have been in my head, because I've been musing about making a similar post recently.
