2000 election (Bush v. Gore) was suspect AF w/ the Florida voting debacle. Voter suppression has been a national past-time. 2016 Primary was far from equitable. Serious issues of voter integrity in the primary this year as well.

People simplify this by just pointing to Russia, China or Israel (all of whom engage in substantive election meddling in the U.S.) - but we fail to address our own infrastructural failures when it comes to securing election integrity.

Most White House reporters from big media are not there because they ask tough questions or engage in investigative journalism (though once in a while you will see a spirited exchange). As important as a free press is, we don't exactly push the boundaries with regards to big media holding people in power accountable. That has to change.

I can't see myself ever voting to hand Trump 2 more supreme court nominations.

I hate so much about Biden. I'll be up front about supporting Bernie, and more importantly his policies and vision for our country. I voted for him in both primaries. I also blame Obama era misteps like bailing out big banks in 2009 for leading us down the road to Trump.

All that being said, c'mon. I'm bummed it wasn't Bernie, and feel like the shit heels in the party won, but I'm still gonna vote for what feels like the vastly superior out of the two pretty shitty options available to me.

The President is not chosen by a national popular vote. The Electoral College vote totals determine the winner, not the statistical plurality or majority a candidate may have in the national popular vote totals. Electoral votes are awarded on the basis of the popular vote in each state.

Michigan, PA, and Wisconsin is the strategy. All states went Blue the last 6 Presidential Elections. Hillary lost ALL of them. If she wins ONE, she's president.

Biden camp needs to flip at least one of those states back to blue and keep all the other blue states, and its a wrap.

If he cant win flip back even ONE of those Blue states, he doesn't deserve to win. And its president Orange for 4 more.
