Because I remember how big dude was.
And, I remember how shocked we were at the big reveal.
And now? Its as if he never existed.
I think he did some acting from what I remember. boston public maybe.
Also, was the beat that had that show on Sundays called Street Science with Dominque Duprima? - I remember the spoken word opening - something something "get pissed enough to missed the bus....fisticuffs"

We all knew he as Japanese American.
Good mixer, but his on air personality was cringe.. Extra smooth and sultry lol. Then again, there was a white dude on KMEL with the same swag.. Evan Luck. That whole effeminate whispering thing was corny.

and did some googling.
Hes had a couple of radio stints but given his profile back then, he's done a great job of wiping his internet presence and seems like nobody really knows what hes doing now

I dunno if that's true or not. He seemed to really hit a wall though around the time he started appearing publicly and putting his face out there though, so that makes some sense. He had gigs after the Beat switched dials/formats (it's now a hip hop station again and a really really shitty one at that) but they didn't last. I liked him, great voice and a fun attitude.

20. "i always heard that but it just seemed like a thing people say" In response to Reply # 19
people used to say he lost listeners when people found out he was asian but i always felt like it was more something people just repeated than reality.
maybe it hindered him after, but who knows. it's radio.

...their third album.
Also, back when when I was doing college radio, the dude before me was from LA and basically jacked Theo's whole steez. Even called his show "The Beat."
