Alarm went off at 0630. "Darn... I always wake up early on the weekends" I thought. Went back to sleep. My lady wakes me up at 0715. I ask her if she's about to head to get her hair done. She tells me the appointment is tomorrow.

went home for lunch. stomach was not having it. after two hours of wait and see i called my boss to tell him i was taking the afternoon off.
he tells me "i know" im thinking what??? how? uhm what???
so i ask him what do you mean? he says yeah whats going on with the plant, everyones going home. i tell him no im not feeling good. i havent heard anything about the plant, whats going on??
he tells me the ceo passed away the night before. they were going to tell everyone and probably shut down the plant for the day.
dude was cool.
ended up feeling better after another hour. went to the plant to get my things and see what was up. the office people were there but all of production was gone. i wasnt sure if the people that work with me would be there. i was thinking maybe ill have to stick around. nope, they were gone. so grabbed my stuff and got a hair cut.
we also got a voucher for some prescription safety glasses yesterday so i decided to hit up the place. the voucher ended up covering the full cost.
as far as the weekend?? im supposed to meet up with some old coworkers tonight. im halfway expecting (maybe even hoping) that it will fall through.

would be kinda into it... guess it'd depend on a lot of details.. but I'm definitely curious enough that I wouldn't try and get out of doing it... talking jury duty obviously. was just thinking about this last week actually... wonder if my turn will come?

Been in the office alone all day..lights out..jamming to Maseos Boiler Room set for the 4989787374th time.
The Kid called herself getting mad at me this morning on our daily MARTA commute. I aint studdin' that child.
Made my money back on this "estate sale" my boy had. He cleaning out his prants house and came across 300 albums. Gave him $50 and he let me take them all. Had to throw alot away, but what I didnt keep I let my homie go thru and take what he wanted. Dollar a piece. He bought 50 records. I'm even, lol.
This weekend...prolly take the kid to Downtown Decatur...maybe go see "Last Black Man in SF" or Endgame again. And oh yes...Fathers Day wrecka stow shopping!

Sat on my Pyle 3 way speaker and binged the first season of "Grace and Frankie" and cleaned all those records. It was pretty awesome. Dude had some GEMS in there

I think its a southern thing...I've heard multiple folk here either use it as well or knew what I meant when I said it.
Ahite..so..her homies took her out to dinner yesterday, right? Why did this child EAT before they went...then got mad when they got mad at her for eating beforehand? All she kept saying was how annoying they were when they kept asking her why she ate. I said "Zo...imagine if you were taking me out to eat, and I ate beforehand..wouldnt you be mad?"
But daddy..eating isnt the only reason to go to dinner with someone

Just once do I want to go to a West Indian restaurant and they have everything on the menu. Just once smh.
Went to a West Indian/Belizean restaurant today that I saw on Food Network, and the food was good, really good, but of course they were out of the main thing I wanted which was conch fritters.
