Probably his worst acting performance up to that point.

Hey - hey got to be in the movies, got a purple light saber, and got paid - but he's really bad.

I remember when he said "Do you think its this......................boy?" and I was like "he might as well said CHAIR instead of boy.

And this scene in particular is awful - the saber fighting looks incredibly lame, it's slow and all the dialog is stupid.

This is just awful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrekLjuJ4Lc

I hope he got a boatload of money.

Could've just poked the mofo. Never said "Aye, shut the fuck up Anakin and go get backup."

I also hated Anakin's motivation in this movie too. Just get a new chick if she dies, bruh. Don't go chopping up little kids...

But George Lucas brings out the worst in every single actor/actress he directs. No matter how skilled they are, George manages to make them awkward and stilted.

Two of them got cut right away. The fish face dude lasted a while, but even he was no help.

They all pulled out their light sabers with mad swag tho.

Palpatine killed them so easily was supposed to be showing how much of a badass he was as a Sith lord. Basically like Thanos beating Hulk easily in IW. But the CGI involved with making old Ian McDiarmid look like a menacing fighter was flat out terrible. That triple? SMH. They shoulda just had him use Force lightning as his initial attack to take out the other Jedi and just use his lightsaber when Mace Windu was left alone.

one of the major points of the prequels is the complete and utter failure of the Jedi. They were far too dogmatic in their approach to their own rules, and ended up being servants of the Republic more than serving the Force itself. All while being completely deceived by Palpatine who was literally right in front of their faces. They even specifically ignored all of the warning signs that popped up for their demise - working with the clones while knowing that their origin was murky at best, becoming generals in a war when they were supposed to be keepers of the peace, etc.

Lucas was a great story teller but his execution was trash. If he'd let other directors and scriptwriters work on the prequels while coming up with the overall story and world building and acting as an executive producer, the prequels would be seen in an entirely different light.

GoT and SW seems especially clear that it is a series designed for kids.

Revenge of the Sith is the least crappy of the prequels, but we're still dealing with 3 pieces of crap.

Last time I watched all of these was in prep for The Force Awakens (and watched them in 'machete' order) That was such a waste of time
