I've discussed it here over the years (long ago...my kid is 14 now), but we had trouble getting and staying pregnant. We were doing all the tricks, one of which was keeping track of her cycle, body temperature...etc.
At first it was cool...we were getting it in constantly. After a while though it felt like work. A few times I was totally unable to get shall we say "inspired." That led to a whole different set of issues.
We had to step back and relax and not try so hard...and guess what...
On a different note...
Neither the wife or i are fans of running the red light. But occasionally she's wanted to get it popping during her cycle. I have wanted to decline, but I fear the repercussions, so I soldiered on.

Multiple times. And she doesn't handle it well at all.
Many reasons. More than likely I'm too tired as I work 2 jobs and do a lot with our son. She got pissed and we had to have "a talk" (aka a bitch about me session). After she laid out what her grand plans are and what she wants to do and how much I hurt her by turning her down, I asked her this: You can either have the dick or the money. Which one is more important?
She shut up real fast after that.
More often than naught I turn it down because SHE's trying to be a good soldier. She'll have back problems, severe headaches and stomach aches and want to mess around but I can tell she's done. Plus, what I look like blowing the back out of my wife with a herniated disc? I might get manslaughter
Time and place I tell her. She's come around
And one time I asked her so it's only a problem when I don't want to do it, but when you turn me down I gotta take it on the chin? (Again, no response)

But yes. I was between jobs at the time, and I couldn't focus on fucking when I didn't know when my next check was coming. Just the provider in me, I guess. She didn't handle it well at all. She had a high sex drive and was on some "BUT YOU A MAN!" shit lol. She was also mad because it was a fairly new relationship. She made me wait, so when this happened, we'd only had sex once... which only frustrated her more because she really enjoyed it and now I wasn't in the mood. Bruh. This woman just about went crazy. I didn't love her. I was being difficult. I kept changing my mind. I'd lost interest in her. I didn't want her or make her feel sexy etc.
After a couple of weeks of mimicking her I told her what was up. Livid. She was absolutely livid for damn near a couple of months.
Bruh one little rejection was like knife to the heart and back at the same time. I was like bih you drop sex rejections like old ladies giving out peppermints at church.
