"Anyone been to Cape May, NJ? "
Going this summer for a few days for a lil Family Reunion.

Small quaint town, but good. Wildwood is right there if you want slightly more of a Jersey Shore vibe. Dolphins are usually out frolicking in eyesight from the beach most of the summer. And it's a popular whale watching location, not sure if they're out there in the summer though.

We stayed at the Akwaba Buttonwood .... it was ok...but it also taught us that B&B's aren't really our groove... too much like staying at your old aunties house that cleans up juuuuuust enough to say she did it...
The town is dope though... Go to the lighthouse at the end of the road...if you can, bring your bicycles...also watch out for the youngins on mopeds...

The photos look cool.
My fam got a big ass house for our reunion.
My grandfather and grandmother used to vacation there.

Definitely an older town. Lots of senior citizens go there.
it might be a dry town too. No liquor stores. Which fits your no alcohol stint you were doing.
For quiet and relaxation, definitely a good spot to be. If want to go where the kids will have fun, take a day and go to Wildwood. Plenty of pier rides and games for kids to play there. You and the Mrs can ride the tram cars all day and take in the sites. 3 dollars per rider will let you ride the entire boardwalk.

Some of which others have mentioned...
• Check out the Cape May lighthouse. I believe its considered a state park. There you can take a (board) walk through dunes and groves towards and onto the beach where there is a roped off area for swallows to nest. ON the beach you can see the remains of a WW1 bunker that lies on the beach.
• Definitely check out the wildwood boardwalk in the evening. "watch the tram car, please"
• Get that Macks's boardwalk pizza
• In Cape May there is a Alpaca farm. Find it.
• Check out the bay side of Cape May where its much quieter and the beaches are free.

Formerly Mack and Manco’s. It’s up there with the best pizza I’ve ever had. Mack’s is good though. People also talk about Sam’s I think I had it once a long time ago.
