This year, Hamilton just straight up starting wearing straight back cornrows under his helmet and it's lowkey the blackest shit to hit F1 since he introduced the flatbrim cap a few years back. Actually, the second blackest thing is that Hamilton actually factually has a fucking mixtape out there.
Quick history - before Hamilton the last black person to race in the series was Willy T. Ribbs, holder of the blackest fucking name ever.
Each time this dude wins I crack up when hes at the podium with fresh braids. He's on the Lebron hair transplant plan as a member and president but what you gonna do?

I'm tired of Lewis/Merc dominating and find him a bit cringey at times but it is refreshing to see some blackness in the sea of white that is F1. Got a Thai dude this season too, thats cool.

i see it as him just having his moment of cementing his place in history.
Can you imagine being the next black driver in F1 after him? Hes setting the bar high as fuck.
Now Leclerc...I am holding my breath. We've had a few folks who were pushed as the second coming (Sainz, Verstappen, Stoffel) but Leclerc seems like he might be the real deal (but lets be real, a dope driver winning and dominating has more to do with their team and team culture and 500 other people on the team).
