on first listen, this is a better album than Oxnard but Oxnard has more standout tracks. Malibu still his best.

But this weekend after listening to Ventura, I went back to spend a lot more time with Oxnard, and I actually like that album a lot more now. I might even like it more than Ventura overall (which I really like a lot)

saw him live last week and he was fantastic. agree on favorite songs changing being a sign of a good album. I think he'll go down as one of the great artists on his generation, I think he's that good.
