decided to move to Ty Dolla $ign's discography (on shuffle). SHit sounds great while in the office tryna get through the day.
Nothing else on this list, besides Khalid's album, had me interested. As soon as he started singing on the firs track, I wanted to hear "OTW" by him and Ty Dolla.
Edit: I might give the Tory Lanez joint some burn over the weekend.

if so i decided to skip it. it seems to have really bad reviews. looks like logic wanted to get his andre 3k on and folks werent with it. his album last year was legit though.
i still have some albums to listen to from the 1st qtr but im basically all caught up. i will definitely listen to ventura. that lsd could be interesting, i might turn it off after two songs but i think im going to give it a try. also curious about Marshmello & SOB X RBE. i have a weak spot for norah jones so that will be listened to. i wanna check out the chemical brothers. theres also the pete rock. im not big on instrumental albums but it is pete rock and beats from the 90s.

norah jones was a nice listen. i usually get 2/3 tracks from her albums that stay in my main rotation. not sure which ones it will be this time but most of the album was really good so it could be any.
SOB X RBE was okay.
chemical brothers isnt really my thing, as ive said before instrumental albums dont do it for me most of the time. i know ive liked remixes and collabos with them before but dont see myself coming back to this.
LSD is not at all my thing. too pop. sometimes these collabo albums really work. this one didnt for me.

i never heard of her and i feel dumb for it.
her singing voice is great, the beats hit, her rapping is pretty good. i need to give this more spins. i can see it being one of my favorite for this year.

Based on the couple times I listened yesterday, it's definitely several steps down from Blank Face. Not as good as Oxymoron or Habits to me either at this point. I'ma keep listening and see if my opinion changes.

it's all over the place stylistically, which is why i think the "concept album" label was slapped on it to give it the appearance of a cohesive project
also i have a hot take which is that q just a serviceable rapper that mostly gets by due to his strong charisma and delivery
