I liked the trailer a lot and that caught my attention, but very low expectations.

I like Joaquin Phoenix and hopefully its awesome

I also wonder how many comic book elements will get placed in this flick since this trailer seems to convey this will stray a bit more to a human dramatic story rather than a more supernatural comic book story.

i told him the premise (yet another joker movie... an origin this time) coupled with the actor ('ol joaquin is an odd bird to say the least) left me a little cold

now, having seen the trailer, it leans more toward "good weird" than bad

too bad i don't trust trailers (still to this day scarred from the teaser for phantom menace)

so i'm interested in seeing what they're trying to do.

i'm glad they're not trying to canonize it cause i think that def would have taken away from whatever vision this has.

i havent been keeping up with it.
