I just got over a cold - that took 6 days to overcome.

Anyone else get sick this year??

And can we agree that being sick stinks?

I've never gotten a flu shot (at least not as an adult, not sure what I was given as a kid) and always said I'd never get one until I actually for the flu, so next year I'll be getting the shot.

last time I got the FLU I was down for 2 full weeks.

Except I cant exercise or a start to wheeze.

Cats at work stating they "get over" a cold in like 2 days. Doubt they have a cold at all.

And those last me about 5 days, but that's counting the first and last day which are usually not bad at all, just the prelude and post-cold sort-of-sick-but-not-really days.

Can't really complain though, outside of those seasonal colds the only times I've been sick in my adult life were the aforementioned flu earlier this year and when I got the mumps.

Out of commission for about 48 hours - daughter got sick same night, she was sick about the same time period.

Son got it first (he thought it was food poisoning) he was sick for about four days.

The cold lasted about a week.

I usually catch one or two a year.

I rarely get the flu and had never gotten the flu shot until I decided to get it this year.

I did get a flu shot. I doubt that has anything to do with it. I never had the flu shot before and I still didn't get sick.

I wash my hands and avoid touching my face.

I ended up in the hospital for 4 days because I got MRSA from a fucking pimple. Dr's said I was lucky I came in when I did, I was a day short of it being a fatal case.
