"Love + Death + Robots on Netflix..."

...great animated shorts if you are looking for something dope to watch today.
Anyone else watching? I'm halfway through my second watch of the episodes.

no actors, no rotoscoping, no paint-overs

that one had more true-to-life motion than any of the other ones and i was super impressed. obviously the art style is exactly what i like.

A bit of light over The Witness after reading a tons of reviews and comments...: 1. "The Girl" is not called Zawora ( I seriously not sure where that name comes from ... weirdddddd ) We never mention her name in the film. She is just called "The girl". Even though I wrote the story I dont know her name. She came briefly in to my brain nameless, stressed, intense, sexy and glamorous but I forgot to ask her name... EDITED: Actually, thanks for letting me know. Zawora was on the caption English subtitles when the Host announces her. We are correcting that. Thank you Netflix and Thank you guys for letting me know! 2. This is not life action painted over the top, or real people running around with masks... Its a weird compliment though, but what you see here are real paintings ( Environment Supervisors 2D Yun Ling @lingy000 , 3D Vaughan Ling ( alias @heavypoly )and myself we LOVE painting !!! )

Animation is KeyFrame Animation. Animation Supervisors David Pate , Adrian Millington @adrian_millington , their skilled team and myself love that technique over others and we are very purist about it. And we are not lying about it. This guys are specialist in realistic animation and in transmitting real emotions and Im very proud of them.

3. Thanks for asking but we want the film to have a nice life by itself for a while before we dissect it on pieces. We will share art, crew amazing work, character designs, animation progress and juicy stuff some time soon when the time is right!
However: Please do not expect a major dissection, We also LOVE mystery.
Ultimately even though we trust on great software I would say that our technique is more based on artists skills and imagination, than tools or software doing magic.

the script was tight
the story was very human
the art was extremely professional and well crafted
Robert Valley's style fits so well with scifi. it reminds you of Metropolis. or just art deco in general

seemed like scenes in video games you keep pressing the button to skip.

most of the graphics were fantastic. the movement of people was awkward but some of the scenes almost pass off as "real" looking.

i doubt i will go back to it.
