Obviously this dude doesn't have a chance, even compared to other possible challengers. But I wonder if he could do enough damage/cause enough trouble to make an impact...?

towards the end of the campaign...he actually told voters not to waste their votes on him and gary johnson...but instead to vote for hillary clinton because trump was a threat to the country.

Weld is a moderate Massachusetts republican which basically makes him a Venezuelean socialist in the eyes of Trump’s base. He could appeal, however, to moderate republicans who haven’t lost their damn minds and are still riding that Never Trump train. Who knows how many of those folks are left though.

Trump has been an embarrassment on every measurable level and the GOP can't finally admit that.
