I believe that many of the women were legit drugged and raped. I also believe that maybe a couple of them heard things about Cosby and still dealt with him.
I don't believe in any conspiracy about Cosby trying to buy NBC because not enough factual evidence has been presented to prove that. ---------------------------------------

Im more torn now, but I wouldn't be surprised if they took some kernels of truth and added a heaping amount of exaggeration and another heap of total BS
On the other hand, sometimes ppl are just capable of more evil than we're able to wrap our heads around, and perhaps he just had a really dark side to him that got out of hand, and we're clamouring for a conspiracy.
Im very torn. He was like an additional virtual father figure to so many of us who grew up in the 80s

Pretty hard to argue about that.
Only chance I gave him was if he was like "Nah, I never drugged them... WE were doing drugs TOGETHER!"
But he never said that, or anything close to a plausible, not-guilty reason. I'm not deep on the specifics of his trial, but if he was guilty of drugging at least one of these women then he's guilty.
Was there a "push" to see Cosby go down? Maybe, but it's a good reason not to commit crimes and have skeletons in the first place.

I asked because I have a hard time understanding why folks believe there was some ulterior motive for all these ladies coming out against him.
he drugged chicks and raped them. not much else to it, but the convo I had today showed me that there are people that believe otherwise. and then the convo led to weinstein and kellz. basically, they were dancing around the actual crimes, blaming others and trying to relate it to Cosby, racism, and NBC.

What a lot of people do in hollywood is keep tabs on people & also let them get in trouble so they can make you lean on them so they can use it as leverage in the future for favors that you can't resist.
Bill Cosby was getting out of line cause he basically got to a point where he thought he could do no wrong personally & business wise, then when so people tell him "boy stay in your place", that's when all the bets were off and the knocked him down like a house of cards.
They had dirt on him for years ready to use, cause most of the people in hollywood all got dirt on each other that newcomers were introduced to by others older celebs, some see it (it's cult-ish ways) and get out completely while others just do their work and go home, and a few stay in the mid-west or on the east coast to have a place to get away when their work is done.
Is Bill innocent, hells no, but that fact that he thought he could get away with it for so long is the funny part, like they say, you got to work twice as hard to get what they have and if you do dirt they will get a slap on the wrist while you will get the full charges & penalties.

Not saying he was no longer famous when these allegations finally stuck but he was no longer as highly regarded and protected as he was earlier in his career.
We'd likely never had known about all of this if he'd kept his shit in the 20th century.
