Boots are waterproof too. Sucks getting it all off and on, but when I'm riding through the rain the gloves only really get wet.
I was in your situation a while back, since I work downtown and don't like to ride around at lunch (traffic sucks). It was pouring one day and I bought a $3 umbrella that lasted about four blocks before i started coming apart.
I just want to say I have at least 30 years to go before I hit retirement age and this shit is brutal. Sooo much respect to my parents and the people who came before me who did this shit. Work fucking sucks.

tho work is not as bad as commuting is imo... i don't mind the work part as much.. I get the necessity... commuting is just spit in the eye tho... an insult.. it's past time for the paradigm to shift along with the times imo.

I legit stalk pages with thousands of followers/views and can't figure it out. I've gotten better with the hashtags and "follower engagement", but I need more visitors to the site and I can't figure it out...smh..

Let me just add, watching a transformer burn up and explode is crazy.
No power Sunday night or Monday. Which meant no heat.
Man, a fireplace looks good but that shit doesn’t heat even half a room. Had to get a hotel so the kids wouldn’t get sick.
Reminded me of my childhood. But without the hotel but at least we had a gas stove to heat the kitchen up.
I’m all electric and just realized I ain’t built for off grid life.

House got cold so quick it wasn’t even funny. I’m used to a cold house but these southern girls? Nah... wife wouldn’t even wait until 3 to check in. We drove around for an hour to get the kids some heat and sleep while the phones charged.

Joint is the truth. It was able to get our living room from 65 to 80 in under an hour. If our whole house fan worked, we probably coulda heated the whole house.
We'd still be SOL in an outage but they also sell fans for the inserts that run on the residual heat from the insert.
work fire has been put out.... should spark up again should be doused and done... prolly jinxed myself.. but nah. we're good. *phew*... good start to a day for a change.. relatively speaking of course.

i mostly stayed tuned out last year knowing it would be a rebuild. i would check on recaps or news stories but didnt watch any game all season.
i was somewhat hopeful coming into this year then a lot of injuries hit before the year started so i was in wait and see mode. seems like theyre a big mess this year.
if i had an easy/legal/cheap way to tune into their games i might check them out but right now theyre not worth the effort.

used to be able to watch tv shows and movies with no problem. live tv was always hit or miss but more than likely hit. might just take some work.

i had been sitting on that alfredo sauce for a few months. definitely prefer marinara. i had been thinking i would make chicken alfredo but i was never up for it. guess im not too big of a fan of it. some shrimp alfredo though...that might be worth while.

they have me looking into the shipment cost of items so we can bill our customer. we did get one charge that is like 3 times higher than usual. looks like its due to the dimensions.

im trying to get the afternoon off but this shipment chase might kill that.
that said... they went to the moon imo. I'm not going to clown you for that and I'm all for questioning things and critical thought.. but without really looking into it in great depth, I buy that happened and they've built the, satellites and long range nukes since to prove it.
