1. If You Know You Know - Pusha T 2. Thank You - Black Thought 3. Orlando - Blood Orange 4. Citgo - Chief Keef 5. Wonderwall (Remastered) - Oasis 6. Questions - The Midnight Hour 7. Timberwolves - Finding Novyon 8. What a Time to Be Alive - Superchunk 9. How Ya Do Dat - Young Bleed, Master P, C-Loc 10. U A Bitch - Bun B (feat Pimp C)
I like Thank You, Orlando and Questions, but there's no way these were in my top 10 played songs of the whole year. Wonderwall's on here because of sports, and a couple of these are related to playing those songs over and over on one specific day (#7 was from the final night of the NBA regular season when the Wolves beat Denver in OT and #10 was from election night.)

I don't believe these lists are set up in order of "most listened to song" to "least listened to song." But I agree with Marauder21. There are some songs on my list that just shouldn't be there, IMO. I listened to J. Cole's "KOD" maybe 3 times and I have a couple of his songs on my list. Maybe his style fit into what the algorithm picks up for me?

Maybe a year and a half ago my computer crashed and I forgot to relaunch my last.fm app, and I started listening to podcasts so much that when I'd go to plug in my phone whatever music I'd played was too far back for the app to accept it so I just let my account go dormant.
I'd had that account running since 2005 so I still enjoy going back and seeing a sort of time capsule of my life in music but it seems wrong to start connecting to that again. What I appreciated about last.fm a lot was that it accepted songs as listened to before they were finished, whereas my iTunes will say I've only heard a song a handful of times discounting all the times I was just shuffling my library or trying to make a mix and listened to a verse or two of a song and then skipped the rest of it.

Along with "Lady"
I'm surprised all of Brown Sugar wasn't on this list, honestly. I went back and listened to that whole album several times over the summer cause it'd been a while. Such an amazing piece of art.

it makes sens because most of these songs are on playlist I use when hiking and have been on those lists all year.
Looking lower I see Justice, Shalamarr, Black Thought Streams of Thought Vol 1, The Spinners, Holy Ghost, and a bunch of others that are on those lists.
