we have this lady here that owns a boutique that makes all kinds of knockoff colognes, soaps and shit. indistinguishable from the real thing unless youre a mega connoisseur.
i almost passed out the first time i smelled drakkar.

I have an older cousin who used to run through tenderonis, in middle school he was the hero of the cousins my age. He also sprayed entire bottles of cologne on himself at a time, similar to homeboy with the H20 molecules.
One summer he tried to teach us game, after vacation bible school everyday he gave us plair lessons. He eventually finessed us into purchasing bottles of inauthentic CK1 from him. Long story short, his methods never worked for us, especially the overabundance of cologne. But, I can now recognize that underlying scent of those bogus colognes and perfumes...and I'm offended by it.
So much so, a while back I ran into a fine comedian who I happen to follow on IG, she basically cracked on me and I was on the verge of risking it all, but during our conversation my nose started to tingle and I smelled that familiar underlying smell. Immediately my fascination with her ended. I still follow her on IG, but when I see her new posts, all I smell is that fraudulent CK1 base chemical.

I think that's why I keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer on me: to quickly get rid of the smell
Question to the folks that partake in the puff puff pass activity.. afterwards, when in public do you wear that raw weed smell or do you whip out the cologne/oils/etc..
since the decriminalization, folks here are walking around smelling like a pound of herb.. at 7AM on their way to work/school/etc..

some niggas dont know how to apply the shirt properly. i wear cologne daily. Actually, i wear eau de parfum which is more concentrate, so I only apply one or two sprays to my collar before i get dressed.
i've literally seen some of my boys spray shit in their hands and rub it on their clothes. then spray more on top of that. smh.

even as a young gal, (young) men who smelled good were yummy added to their sexiness and now...aint nothing changed but the age
my sons tend to drown themselves in axe and we complain and jone on them, especially in enclosed spaces a little goes a long way

Anyone dousing themselves in Joop or wearing so much that they can be smelled across a room needs to step their game up. I can’t even imagine dapping someone up and smelling like their fragrance - did he spray his hands for some crazy reason?
There are different types of fragrances which should be worn depending on the time of the year, if it’s day or night, if you’re at work or going out, if you’ll be in close quarters with others, etc. And there are times when you really shouldn’t wear anything at all. There are some fragrances which are crowd pleasers and very few people would find the, offensive, and there are others which fit a specific niche and are more risky that will have you smelling unique but some people might hate it.
My current favorite all around fragrance is Acqua Di Gio Profumo by Armani. More modern than the classic original Acqua Di Gio, great performance, and extremely versatile.
A great non-offensive fragrance to wear at the office is D&G Light Blue Intense. It’s a fresh, light scent. My other go to for the office is Prada L’homme - also very fresh and clean, like stepping out of the shower and wearing clothes out of the laundry.
For evenings I like YSL La Nuit de l’homme. The current bend of it doesn’t last that long, but that’s fine since it smells more like an evening/date fragrance which doesn’t need to last all day.
Want something more niche? Creed Aventus is still the king. It’s expensive but you can try it out by getting in on the fragrance split subreddit. I’ve used that for several purchases before dropping a lot of coin on a niche fragrance. You can also try the scentsplit website for samples. For Creed there are a couple REALLY good clones on the market (For both Aventus and Green Irish Tweed) but get your nose on the real thing first. I absolutely love Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood (Tom Ford Private Blends) but those are more risky - people either love them or hate them. A couple other niche picks I like are Kilian Sacred Wood and Pegasus by Parfums de Marly.
Want something cheap to get into fragrances? Mont Blanc Individual is a good one you can get for under $25, and it smells very similar to Creed’s Original Santal. You can also find Bvlgari Aqva Amara pretty cheap and it’s a good, versatile fragrance.
