The sound quality at home is worth it. Vinyl is noisier, but (to my ears, at least) there's a clear difference between the sharp digital and the smooth analog sound.
I've got about 3k records and 99.5% of them were purchased used for under $7/per.

to be honest i doubt i will play much. maybe being able to use the switch as a portable will increase that.
i know i want to play these games: mario odyssey mario kart smash brothers zelda
after that i always like good racing and FPS games. thats where the PS4 would probably kick in. im not sure what good realistic racing games the switch has or shooters.
im almost set on getting the switch. those interest free deals on the cards are too enticing.

I am trying to wean my kids off Christmas now that they are older. the idea that you are old enough to have a part-time job and still be expecting hundreds of dollars of gifts makes no sense to me. we have a mortgage; you can buy your own Nike sweatpants. also, all the shit I bought them last year is now just laying around the house with zero care.
I did pick up a Bluetooth speaker ($30 off) for my daughter and Roku stick ($20 off) for the family from Best Buy. the house stuff we need (standing lamp, coffee table, etc) I'll buy myself and wrap them for the "family."
also I saw some of my favorite bath towels on sale at Target so I'll probably get those next (our kids steal our towels and they are never found again). I have never understood my Dad more than now.

Target had it in stock to order online and pick up today. They dont open until later so i guess theres a chance it doesnt go through. If it works out though theres my plans after dinner tonight lol
So yeah if you dont want to chance finding it in store you might want to check target.
If they say i will need to wait for shipping ill probably order it on amazon. Got a $60 gift card for applying for the card. I think i would get the 6 mo interest free too.

i was able to get my switch, lan adapter and mario odyssey with a 5 minute wait at target, 2 people. i also ordered a 128 gb sd card and screen protector at best buy for pick up. there was a loooooong check out line. i asked a worker where store picks up were. he took me to the front and asked the dude in charge of the line. he said just step there and they will help you in a bit. a couple minutes later i was out the store lol
i know this isnt always possible for all the items but it worked out nice for me. if they make this common place then im sure the lines for pick up will be just as long come next year.

13" MBP, Pacsafe Metrosafe Backpack, might pick up some Frank and Oak boots too. Oh Chapters had these on 50% off, Matty Mathesons cook book for a present for someone and Rupi Kaurs resissue of her second book cause shes from my city and wanted to support (Hardcover she designed is super dope)
Only some of these things were on Black Friday sales just stuff I wanted or needed and got around this time

Everybody buys everything online so there’s less than a quarter of the people there. Walmart and Best Buy are the only ones where you might have to stand outside for 10 min but everybody has it down to such a science now you don’t even have to be there when they open to get your 40” for $0.99.

any of the other random sales these companies have throughout the year. If I catch a sale at a time I really want/need something, I’ll go for it. I’m not going to get caught up in the hype and force a purchase just because it’s on sale though.
And in store....I’m not dealing with that hassle regardless of what the sales are.

of course mario makes good use of the joycons. there are some parts in the game where using the joycons really makes things easier.
i havent tried that 1 2 switch or whatever but its cool the technology and creativity that nintendo puts into their systems.
last system i had was the n64 or gamecube. dont remember if the gamecube was straight up my brothers or if it was shared. obviously we were stilling living with our parents. since i moved away for school ive lost touch with games.
wii was fun to play when i moved back after school but i think i lost interest.
been getting that itch, when i saw the presentation for the switch i was hooked. i havent tried it as portable though lol i have been using it as much as i hoped. maybe a bit too much.

I’m not a huge gamer, myself...but I will be grabbing a couple more titles. I have a 4K tv and the idea of 4K gaming and streaming was enough for me, lol. My son has a Slim and there is a noticeable difference from his tv to mine as far as graphics. I paid 400 and got a $60 game with it. I can stomach that. It’ll be the last system I buy for many, many years.
