Even if it means taking time away from the new record Hiatus Kiayote was working on, she should step away from it all. Cancer is no joke. At least she is somewhat young, so hopefully that will help with the cancer hopefully going into remission and completely out of her system.
Props to her for revealing this through social media as I'm sure she could have gotten her management/label to release the news.

she performed this week shortly after having a biopsy done for this diagnosis. She mentioned she was in physical pain as result of the test and that her performance could suffer as result.
This whole thing has to be a complete mindf&ck given the history with her mother. Props to her for being so transparent and open about the whole ordeal.
