What's good fam? Been a long time.
About a year ago Northwestern University and their Black alumni association NUBAA commissioned us to produce a documentary film on the first protest that happened on campus in 1968. This was a big deal for us. It was the largest film project we had ever done at that point. We traveled across the country from Queens, New York to Delaware, OH to do interviews with all of the participants including the first Black Homecoming Queen at Northwestern, Daphne Maxwell Reid (Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air).
We're having a private screening at The Second City on October 12 (sold out) & 13. Would love for you to join us to see the film along with a moderated Q&A afterward. The event is free, but we ask that you bring a pair of gently-used gloves, or a $5 donation for our winter charity partnership with Warm Hands, Warm Hearts. All gloves will be distributed to homeless communities across Chicago this winter.
