tomorrow big kid has soccer at 10am and then his bday party from 3-5. we're having it at this place called The Circuit which is basically a bar with old school arcade games. self serve beer taps for the grown ups attending Haha. should be pretty fun.

nothing else really on the agenda this weekend. TheWife will be going to Maryland for her cousin's baby shower Sunday so i'll be home with the dudes.

been an age since I've hit an arcade

a few years ago after a night of partying, I blacked out around 4am and "next thing I know" I'm walking down the street at 7am, 3hrs of unaccounted time.... clothes on and clean - check, no bruises or blood - check, wallet and money - check... went home and passed out.

I've totally checked out on school.. online course, discouraged by some assignments, need to get back to it and finish. only two more semesters left and I'm DONE, while being called "Dr." sounds cool, mentally I'm not ready for what it takes to get there.

woke up just as I was arriving... was a weird experience like I must've been somewhat conscious or I would've fallen over or something but I remember fading as I started and waking as I arrived with almost nothing in between... was about a 45 min walk I caught maybe 5 or 10 minutes of it.

By Friday it gets pushed back another week because we are both tired as shit

She keeps saying Sunday but I have to reminder it’s the south, people don’t yard sale on Sundays

I hate Yard Sales. It’s less stressful to donate and write it off but she swears we will cake up this time because we have a bed frame for sale.

a lot of movies fall short because they take themselves just that smidge too seriously and hold back the stupid instead of just going all out.. it's a bad move.. if you know your movie is going to be dumb you need to embrace that ish and push the envelope imo.

Trying to get the crib right before the storm windows come down at the end of the month. Finally drug the piano to its' actually spot and started trashing a lot of the stuff I own but don't use.

Going to replace the gazebo that I tore down last year with a greenhouse. My mom is giving me one of the tent types. Now to figure out how to heat it. Thinking about building a small rocket mass heater. Going to build a pond too, because I can raise dragonflies there to go at these mosquitoes. Tired of those little vampires just flying around in attack formations with impunity.
