Anyone planning to go? This is being dubbed "An exclusive 2-Day journey with Wu-Tang Clan through the 36 Chambers."
Aside from a headliner performance, there's some interesting programming with select members, including a BBQ; an art gallery event, a book reading with U-God and a film screening with Ghost.
I'm skeptical this will all go down as planned because it's hard to get all of them in one place but maybe I should stop being a wet blanket?!
I've never been to the A3C Festival. Discovered it in college circa 2006 but I didn't go because I knew I looked like a fetus, I knew it was going to be a sausage fest and I didn't have anyone to go with...It's crazy how the same factors would keep from going now that I'm in my early 30s.

Ever since they started the talks/panels, I’ve been. Last year I got to see Combat Jack do 2 live podcasts before he passed. The conferences aren’t sausage fests because a lot of the managers are female, but they’re more about business than hollas. The festival has had plenty (hipstery) chicks there. I’ve never gone with anyone else.

Gotta sit through U-God struggling through reading a book. Getting frustrated because he keeps mispronouncing the same word, even after a couple of kids corrected him.

They're $1,199. I don't know if that was always the price and I got it wrong the first time, or if the price dropped. http://www.a3cfestival.com/wutangatl
I'm sure overall ticket sales are up now that Lil Wayne, a major headliner, has released "The Carter V."

i cant see myself spending that type of money on any type of show. i dont care how personal it is.
kind of funny, my friend was going to a festival earlier in the year. cardi b was scheduled but she cancelled due to pregnancy. she got replaced by lil wayne.
he was telling me a couple of weeks ago he was going to ACL to see childish gambino, now he cancels and is replaced by lil wayne lol
i dont know how he felt about lil wayne before this year but i take it hes tired of him now lol

I thought (what made sense to me) that Wu was closing out the Sunday show and festival. I really don't wanna see Lil' Weasel live. I only really know "A Milli".
It's nice to see them out there, getting work. Booking and paying for a legendary act that includes several grown-ass, middle-aged men certainly must cost a lot.

The five-day A3C Festival ended abruptly when an “altercation” occurred during Lil Wayne’s closing performance Sunday night.
Festival organizers and Atlanta police have released statements that evidence indicates no shots were fired nor weapons involved.
Fan-recorded video from the concert at the Georgia Freight Depot outdoor stage in the Old Fourth Ward shows pandemonium breaking out in the crowd a few songs into the rapper’s set. It is still unclear what prompted the melee.
