"Talking Cars On a Tuesday - I’m in love with a Hemi"
Did that DC to Pittsburgh drive and I try not to scoot around in our cars for long distance. Since it was anniversary weekend I rented a charger.
Oh Em Gee
It hit every hill and incline and mountain like a salmon upstream It purred in idle It growled on acceleration It blew cold kisses on my back when the leather was too hot Hugged me with an amazing sound system that caught every note
I’m legit sitting here wondering how I can engine swap that into my scion.
I’m a fool in love.

**************** TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

the ability to damn near throw the car forward, no matter what speed you're already going. Mopar is really bodying the American muscle car scene, right now. I mean...I know, I know...Corvette. Still, though.

Chrysler is getting more life out of that chassis they co-opted from Mercedes that Aston did with their VH platform.
Still, from a looks perspective, I like it better than the Camaro or Mustang (which pains me to say being from a Blue Oval family). As a Hot Wheels car come to life, it works perfectly.
While I would love to see some platform development with the Challenger, I have to give them credit for embracing what the car was (big, comfy cruiser/stop light bandit) and just built on it

For looks, it wins. If I had the option of choosing one of the 3 as a rental, I'll take the Challenger. But to own? I'd take the Mustang

the gas mileage ain't as good as it use to be and that I can't get the navigation to work on the entune app. then the audio won't display the covers on my music. they said it's a new law that cover art will only be displayed when the car is in park, which presents a problem when I try to find a song on my ipod. I use to be able to know what I was playing by the art work with a quick glance, now I gotta look at the artist name AND album in the little tiny tag t see what song is up.

Have to admit I had a thing for the 1st gen Diamante back in the day. The last one they released looked too much like a bloated Galant, which was too much a sad Camry knockoff and nowhere near as good. My father in law has owned 2 of them (Galants, that is)
