I invited someone to a cookout I’m having and they asked what kind of food would be there. I said beef and pork ribs amongst other things. Then they asked will there be chicken ribs. I had never heard of such a thing. I asked my dad. Who is the one bbqing and he was like nah. Never heard of it. What say you Okp?

So, I never saw/ate any chicken ribs outside of eating chicken breasts.
I've noticed that some products like the wraps they sell at Wal-Mart say they use rib meat from the chicken, but that just seems like chicken breast meat.

Which, I think is some collarbone cut, made to look like poke ribs for the "I don't touch that swiiinnne" crowd. They're always sold out, so I assume they're okay, with the right sauce.

You see it on packages of boneless chicken breasts. Apparently, it's just considered an extension of the regular breast.
"A chicken is a small bird. Its rib cage is small. ... A chicken rib is not really a 'chicken rib', but it is part of the scapula meat, or a shoulder meat of thechicken. Rib meat is simply a natural extension of the breastmeat. It is NOT an additive or a filler."
So it looks like there is a thing such as chicken rib meat but it's not enough of a thing where people actually ask for it as its own thing.
chicken ribs are a thing but it's not actually from the ribs of a chicken. it's usually the thigh that's cut a certain way to make it look like ribs. it's for people who want ribs but either don't eat pork or want a so-called "healthier" option. I've never actually had them, but I've heard of it.
it's similar in idea to country style pork ribs. it's pork but it's not the rib it's actually the shoulder. it's cut into rib-like strips and tastes similar.
